AHA! is a research project, which explores the divide between human intelligence and AI through art.
We aim to leverage art, which is bounded by not reality but the human mind, to obtain an insight into the ability of humans to
generalize their knowledge to wildly diverse perspectives and robustly capture a common essence in those.
We do so to address some of the biggest questions in contemporary AI research.
Current AI models based on deep learning often do not generalize well outside their training data.
Furthermore, they are vulnerable to adversarial attacks, non-essential changes in the data that aim to change their decision on a given input.
By challenging existing methods with artistic images that creatively break the rules of reality without losing the essence,
we can move toward new developments that lead to better AI models.
